Astronomers have discovered a new super-Earth located approximately 40 light-years away that may have conditions suitable for liquid water.

The planet is slightly larger than Earth and orbits within the habitable zone of its star, where temperatures could allow water to exist on the surface.

Although no atmosphere has been confirmed yet, scientists are already planning future observations to analyze its chemical composition.

This discovery adds to the growing list of potentially habitable worlds beyond our Solar System.
